Learning4AChange
L4AC Sustainability Learning Conversations and Circles are ways members of local communities, workplaces, schools and congregations can come together to explore and make impacts upon the crucial problems of sustainability and climate change.
Through learning conversations and circles participants begin to understand how we are bringing the systems we depend upon for survival to the brink of collapse. They also explore what a truly sustainable lifestyle entails and the kinds of local responses, action plans and strategies that will not only meet these pressing challenges but also reinvigorate our communities, our health and our wellbeing. The transition to a sustainable way of life offers unbounded opportunities in the midst of the converging crises of climate change, peak oil and more. By bringing communities into learning conversations that matter communities themselves become the agents of the changes we need.

Training4AChange - L4AC trains community people as facilitators of change:
A 2-day training program for community leaders: young people, community members and staff of community organisations and councils who wish to become community facilitators of sustainability learning. Mentoring support is also offered post training to support the new facilitators in setting up and facilitating the conversations that matter - whether these are one off events or a series of conversations such as an ongoing learning circle.
Participants develop skills and knowledge to facilitate sustainability learning conversations and circles geared to action and other small group processes (a minimum of 12 participants required).
